THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY CENTRE OF BEVERLY HILLS

"I worked with Joan Pastor every week for over 3 years and am so grateful for the outcome of the personal work we did.  With her expertise, I developed a healthy foundation that was absent from my life prior to working with her.  She was kind, caring and compassionate, listening with a non-judgmental ear and provided much helpful advice in guiding me on my journey.  I would highly recommend her to anyone who desires to enrich their life."

JPA's work with the entertainment industry began with a popular radio show and the provision of clinical therapy to artists and entertainers as early as 1979 in Philadelphia and New York City, and has been consistent to the present.

Headquartered now in Beverly Hills and San Diego, California, Joan Pastor's expertise as a clinical and business psychologist is invaluable.  She provides:

  • expert opinions on specific topics related to shows or newscasts,
  • assistance in the casting process,
  • consultation on scripts requiring psychological interpretation, and
  • coaching services to individuals and companies.

Corporate clients that JPA has done media projects with include PepsiCo, Institute of Internal Auditors and the National Speakers Association.  Personal coaching clients have come from Fox Studios, SnowFall Films, Disney and numerous music, animation and independent studios.  We coach everyone and anyone from actors, directors, screenwriters and producers to corporate studio executives.  Whether you are new to the industry and want to break in, or have achieved a solid level of success, we have the expertise to work with you.

The entertainment business is truly one of the most challenging industries in which to establish yourself and to create ongoing success.  Very few people do it alone.  Your chances of making it in this industry increase exponentially with the right coach, someone who understands the business world in general and the business of entertainment specifically.

In addition, we work with you to further your creative development, overcome stage fright, score auditions, and truly maximize your gifts and potential.  And you'll have a lot of fun in the process.
